About this coloring page
A big heap of raked leaves with the rake still leaning against it and a couple of chestnuts resting in front. The leaves are drawn as large separate shapes rather than a mass of detail, so a young child can give each one its own colour without the page turning muddy. It is an easy tie-in to a walk outside: collect a few real leaves, then match the colours. Reds, ochres and browns are the obvious route, but an all-yellow pile looks wonderful too.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
