The Animals Gather at Court
A crowned lion sits on his throne in a woodland clearing. A fox, bear, deer, bird and smaller animals gather in a loose semicircle before him. Banners stand on both sides, and the trees form a natural roof above the court. The scene draws on the medieval world of Reynard the Fox, where animals take the roles of a royal household. Fur, feathers, banners and tree trunks make each part of the gathering distinct to color.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
