Woutertje on an Amsterdam Street
Woutertje walks along a street of small cobbles, looking at the houses around him. He wears a cap, jacket and short trousers. Steps lead to the doors of tall gabled houses behind him; a canal and stone bridge lie farther along. A cat crosses his path and a cart stands across the street. Give the houses different brick colors and keep the cobbles lighter so Woutertje remains easy to see in the foreground.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
