Venetian Canal
A Venetian canal with gondolas moored to striped poles and washing strung between the buildings. The reflections double everything, softer and slightly wrong, which is exactly how water works. The mooring poles are traditionally painted in the colours of the family who own them, so this is the one place on the page to be arbitrary and loud.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
