About this coloring page
A lion sits upright on a flat rock with his tail curled round his paws, mane drawn as one big generous shape. That mane is the whole point of the page: it is a single large area a small child can fill without leaving the lines, and it still looks impressive when it is done. Grass tufts and a distant acacia give the scene somewhere to be. Try a darker ring around the outside of the mane and lighter towards the face.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
