About this coloring page
The steamboat pulls into the harbour piled high with parcels and crates, bunting strung between the masts and gulls wheeling overhead. The arrival is the opening act of the whole Sinterklaas season and gets watched live on television by half the country. Plenty of separate shapes here — hull, funnel, flags, individual parcels — so it holds a seven-year-old for a good while. A bright hull against a grey November sky is the honest colour scheme.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
