About this coloring page
Piet climbs out of a chimney with a handful of pepernoten, a couple of soot smudges on each cheek from the trip down. Big rounded shapes throughout — the beret, the feather, the puffed sleeves — so a three-year-old can fill them without much help. The soot marks are drawn as two small open shapes rather than solid black, which keeps the page light and leaves the choice of skin tone entirely to whoever is colouring.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
