Cave Painting
A cave wall of painted horses and bison with a figure holding a lamp up to them. The paintings are thirty thousand years old and were made by someone doing exactly what you are about to do. The originals were painted in red ochre, black and almost nothing else, and holding to those three colours makes the page feel like the real thing.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
