A Cat Sleeps on a Houseboat
A striped cat curls up on the flat roof of a houseboat. Flowerpots stand on either side of it and along the boat's windows. A duck and two ducklings swim past in the canal, and the boat is tied to a post by the quay. A bridge, gabled houses and trees rise behind the houseboat. Pick a clear color for the boat, repeat a few flower colors across the pots and give the canal a soft blue or green shade.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
