Rosemary and Thyme
Rosemary and thyme drawn as a herbarium plate with a magnified leaf beside each. Needles and tiny oval leaves are two completely different textures at a scale most people never look at. Herb greens are grey-tinged rather than fresh, and matching that muted tone is what makes a botanical plate look like a study rather than a decoration.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
