About this coloring page
A girl in a hooded cape walks a forest path with a covered basket, and a wolf watches from between the trunks a little way off. The Grimm version is nearly two centuries old and every child still knows exactly what happens next, which is what makes it such a good colouring subject — the story does half the work. Big open shapes on the cape and basket. The hood is traditionally red, but nobody will stop you.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
