The Woodcutter
A woodcutter with an axe over his shoulder and a bundle of logs on his back, a cottage smoking in the distance. He turns up in half the Grimm tales and never gets a page of his own. A fur-trimmed coat is two textures in one garment, and getting the difference across between the cloth and the trim is the interesting bit.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
