About this coloring page
A narwhal glides under a cracked sheet of Arctic sea ice, its spiral tusk leading the way. That tusk is not a horn at all but an enormously overgrown tooth, packed with nerve endings the animal uses to sense the water around it. The underside of the ice gives you an unusual band of texture to colour across the top of the page. Cool greys and blues suit the ice; leave the tusk almost white so it reads clearly against the darker water.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
