About this coloring page
When a Dutch canal freezes hard enough, little stalls appear on the ice selling hot chocolate, split-pea soup and koek — the koek-en-zopie. This one has bunting strung across it, a steaming pot on the counter and a pair of skates hanging from a hook. It is a scene almost every Dutch and Flemish family recognises instantly, and one you will not find on international colouring sites. Warm the stall up with reds and oranges against a pale, cold sheet of ice.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
