About this coloring page
A carnival figure in a padded costume hung with bells, wooden clogs on his feet and an enormous hat of ostrich plumes, carrying a basket of oranges to throw. Binche does this every Shrove Tuesday and it is on the UNESCO list. The plume hat is the reward: dozens of separate feathers, each one its own shape. Detailed, and worth the time.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
