Kangaroo and Joey
A kangaroo standing upright with a joey looking out of the pouch. The tail is as thick as a leg and does most of the balancing, which is the sort of thing you notice while colouring it. The joey is drawn as a separate shape inside the pouch, so it can be a different shade from its mother — which real joeys are, being paler.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
