Paddling Pool
A paddling pool with two children in it, a hose running across the grass and a parasol at the edge. Simple shapes and a scene every child recognises from about the second warm day of the year. Pool water is shallower at the edges, so a paler ring around the rim and deeper colour in the middle is the whole trick to making it look full.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
